Wake Up and Read

WAKE Up and Read is a community coalition made up of 30+ committed organizations working together toward one common goal — improving childhood literacy.

United behind a shared belief that literacy is a RIGHT for all, not a privilege for the advantaged, WAKE Up and Read is focused on connecting families, offering programs, and aligning services to move the needle on third grade reading proficiency and school success in Wake County.

Help us ensure that every student in Wake County is ready to succeed!

We will be collecting books from January 23rd through February 14th.  Please consider donating new or gently used books for children ages birth-12.

Bins will be placed in the front lobby for drop off.

Thank you for participating in Wake Up and Read!
