I miss each of you!  However, I know you are in the greatest hands with Mrs. Thomas.  I will return to work on Monday, February 19th!

 Dearest Scholars,

As many of you know, I will have my final surgery on January 19th.  Ms. Thomas will be my sub.  She will try to stick to our "normal" schedule but will need to move some days and times around.  I will try to post it here as well as she will communicate with your teachers.

I will return as soon as I possibly can.  Please know that I will miss you dearly!

 Hello from Ligon!

We wanted to reach out and invite your 5^th graders and their parents to the Ligon Open House on January 10th. We will have an Open House at 9:00am and another one at 12:30pm. Experience Ligon with presentations from the performing arts, administration, AIG specialists, and Magnet Coordinator. The Open House is a 1 hour presentation.

2023 December Spirit Week!

 

Science Olympiad 2023 - 2024

 The Science Olympiad after-school club will begin meeting on Monday August 28th from 4:15-5:15 in the Media Center. If interested, you will need to submit the registration form and fee to the Brassfield office. Contact hpelletier@wcpss.net for more information or to volunteer. These 15 sessions are for grades 3-5. Club meets whenever school is in session. Students may attend when tracked out. Registration is $45 which covers tournament fees, team shirt, and supplies. Payment is due by our first club meeting on August 28th. (Make checks payable to BRES PTA with Science Olympiad on memo line). After winter break, students who are chosen to compete in the regional tournament will meet at various times to practice for competition. The tournament (TBD) is usually held on a Saturday in March or April..
