Teacher Parade

Dear Parents,

Are your kids missing their teachers?  Well, Brassfield has some exciting news….the Brassfield Teacher Parade is back on!

Brassfield teachers will be caravaning through your neighborhood!  We will follow routes similar to (but not exactly the same) as our bus routes. Click on the links below to view the routes our teachers will take.

Please note that we are not stopping at individual homes, nor bus stops -- we are simply taking a "slow roll" through our Brassfield neighborhoods to give and receive love!   If your home is not on the exact route, we suggest finding a socially distant location along the route to set up lawn chairs, a blanket, or even watch from your own vehicle.

Wednesday, May 27:  Yellow, Red, and Purple Bus Routes between 1:15-1:45
(starting at Parkville Dr. and ending at Brentwood West apartments)

Thursday, May 28:  Green & Grey Bus Routes between 1:15-2:15
(Go through Rose Hall subdivision, then take Green route first and then Grey)

Friday, May 29:  Blue & Orange Bus Routes between 1:15-2:15
(Blue route first and then Orange)

Please keep the following in mind:
  • Please do not go to your child's actual bus stop.  We used the stops to plan the routes.  We ask that you stay in your yard, or even your doorway or window. Please keep "social distancing!"
  • Teachers will be doing a "slow roll" through the neighborhood, waving from their cars.  Please watch your children closely and make sure they know not to run up to the cars.
  • Teachers will be "social distancing" by staying in their own vehicles and not carpooling with other teachers.
  • Feel free to have your child make signs or banners to wave at us as we go by!

Make sure to keep an eye out for us or pop out a lounge chair and wait for the parade to arrive!

Please have your parent email me if they did not get the email with
